What is Cerublu?

Cerublu is short for Cerulean Blue. As in bright sky blue; Lisa's favourite colour. Cerublu Studio began online at etsy, where Lisa established a shop in 2006, where she mainly sold her quirky crocheted hats.

Then in 2016 Lisa and Lorraine opened a brocks and mortar studio in Dungog, which sold their work and that of Dungog and Hunter Valley artists and artisans.

As of April 2019 Cerublu Studio is now at Campbell's Store in Morpeth and still sells quality, quirky original art and crafts handmade by locals. We have;

Lisa's wild crocheted hats- with horns, boggle eyes and all the fun stuff!

Handmade, block printed and handpainted clothing and shoes

Handbags and tote bags- embroidered, painted, crochet and patchwork

Greeting cards- with original and reproduced artwork

Patchwork quilts and table runners

Painted glassware

Knitted and crocheted jumpers, shawls, mitts and socks

Handknitted baby clothing, bootees and accessories

Ceramic and painted buttons

Crochet, handsewn, resin, tassel and shell, dinosaur, bee and dragonfly jewellery

Paintings, prints, thread paintings, drawings and mixed media works

Pearshaped doorstops and soft toys

Leather belts, wallets, armbands and keyrings

Wooden weaving looms and turned boxes and platters

And lots more! New works come in daily- there's always something surprising, so please drop in or contact us if you'd like to commission your own special artwork.

Lisa will be adding more to this site, including an online shop. But meanwhile if there's something you see on our site that you would like to purchase, we're always happy to mail items, including to overseas destinations.

Artists and artisans- we're always looking for new and unique works, so please contact us if you'd like to discuss showing your work at Cerublu Studio.
